Tahquitz Hunter/Jumper Ring

Full Training Horse only- Avg. 5 days/week training of horse only. $500.00 per month. Does not include schooling, training, riding at horse shows.

Full Training Horse and Rider- see rates below rides ($30) and lessons ($40-65) billed per day

Exercise or Training Ride - $30.00 per ride

Note: All services including exercise rides, lunging, clipping, or grooming of your horse for pay must go through Tahquitz Equestrian Facility. All services are payable to Laurie Cunningham or Tahquitz Equestrian Facility (board). Thank you for your cooperation.

Lessons

Private Lessons- 45 minutes $65.00 per lesson

Group Lessons - 1 hour (2 per week or more) $40.00 per lesson

Group Lessons - 1 hour (4 per month or less) $45.00 per lesson

Child - hr. private own horse/pony $30.00 w/school horse/pony $45.00

Child 1 hr. group own horse/pony $40.00 w/school hors/pony $55.00

Lesson on a school horse $15.00 additional

Schooling and training rides at horse shows $45.00 per day, $55 per day ride and school
(no grooming or care)

Full care and schooling and/or riding at shows $85.00 per day
(braiding additional)

Includes full care and grooming. ($65 partial care and schooling at shows. $75 partial care and schooling at shows. We are available to help you groom and/or tack your horse. ) Customers will be expected to split hotel fees and expenses at away shows if their participation is cancelled after show closing date. Note: Mandatory fees/horse apply for incomplete entries and also if customer has no check at close out. See other show fees below.

Other horse show fees: We encourage everyone to learn how to fill out their own entries and get them to Laurie with a check unless otherwise specified. None or incomplete entries $30, no check at time of check out (Laurie has to pay) $50. Thank you for learning to take responsibility!

Lease Fees: All leases are monthly leases. Lessee is responsible for the leased horse’s board, shoeing, vet, showing, extra feed, and any miscellaneous fees directly related to the horse being leased. Lease fees may vary depending on the horse, and half-leases may also be available.Please contact Laurie Cunningham if you are interested in a lease.

Miscellaneous Fees and Charges

Haul In/Grounds Fee: $15 per day or $65.00 per month.

This fee applies to all horses not boarded at Tahquitz that haul in for lessons, clinics, and shows. Payable to Tahquitz Equestrian Facility.

Daily grooming (includes trimming and baths) $150.00 Per month

Trims (face, ears, legs) $20.00

Mane pull $20.00

Braiding $35.00 mane/$25.00 tail

“Practice ride” on a school horse (1 hour lease, no lesson) $25.00/ride

Bath $25.00

Body Clip $125.00

Lunging $20.00

Haul (w/in 10 miles) $25.00

Haul beyond 10 miles (mileage is round trip) $1/mile additional
